According to the reports, TDP Chief and AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is likely to appoint separate presidents to the two state party units –AP and Telangana. L Ramana who is the present president for Telangana state unit might continue while senior leader K Kala Venkat Rao will be appointed for AP unit.


There is no provision in the present constitution to appoint separate presidents for two states and for a central committee. TDP senior leader and Finance Minister Yanamala Rama Krishnudu will head a three member-committee appointed by the TD to look into party affairs that includes the national tag for the party.


TD workers’ welfare fund coordinator, Nara Lokesh is expected to be inducted into the central committee who will simultaneously toil for the workers’ welfare.
