Manmohan Modi meet; raises doubts
Political grapevine began working overtime as soon as the news emerged that former prime minister Dr Manmohan Singh who blasted the Modi Government at an event of NSUI on Wednesday morning went and met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the evening. Though the meeting was described by Modi on his twitter account as a happy meeting, it gave room for fierce speculation in political circles on whether it was just a courtesy call over the first anniversary of the Government as was given to be understood or was there something more to it.
The meeting not only comes in the backdrop of Dr Singh's unusual vitriolic speech over the BJP leadership's relentless attack of the former prime minister over the major scams of his regime.
