TSRTC to function from June 3
The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) will officially come into being from June 3 and two corporations –APSRTC and TSRTC- will start functioning independently. The administrative affairs of the two corporations will be separated from June 3. Accordingly, APSRTC will start functioning from the A-Block of Bus Bhavan, while TSRTC from the B-Block.

Speaking to The Hans India, APSRTC Joint Managing Director GV Ramana Rao said that the Board meeting will not take place until and unless the Centre reconstitutes the Board of Directors. Meanwhile, the Sheila Bhide committee is scheduled to meet on Friday and deliberate on the bifurcation of APSRTC. The committee will discuss the division of assets between the two corporations with senior officials of the RTC.
