Union Minister for Urban Development M Venkaiah Naidu on Friday, claimed that the one-year rule of NDA Government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi was quite satisfactory and people were happy with its performance. Speaking to media persons here, Venkaiah Naidu said that the NDA Government took several initiatives to eradicate poverty from the country. He said those initiatives would get strengthened in the next four years.

 M Venkaiah NaiduHyderabad: Union Minister for Urban Development M Venkaiah Naidu on Friday, claimed that the one-year rule of NDA Government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi was quite satisfactory and people were happy with its performance. Speaking to media persons here, Venkaiah Naidu said that the NDA Government took several initiatives to eradicate poverty from the country. He said those initiatives would get strengthened in the next four years.


Venkaiah informed that three flagship schemes including Smart City Project, Atal Mission for Renewal and Transformation and Housing for All would be launched next month. He said that the consultation process with the State Governments and other stake holders have been completed and they would be launched on an appropriate date in the month of June.


Replying to a question, the Union Minister said the Centre would extend support for building of new capital for Andhra Pradesh.He said his ministry has sanctioned Rs 1,000 crore for the new capital.
