Three colleges get autonomous status

Three colleges affiliated to the Osmania University were conferred with autonomous status. Based on the recommendations of the University Grants Commission, the autonomous status was bestowed to Bhavan’s Vivekananda College of Science, Humanities & Commerce, Sainikpuri, Secunderabad, St Ann’s College for Women, Mehdipatnam and Government Degree College, Siddipet for the period of six years with effect from current academic
Hyderabad: Three colleges affiliated to the Osmania University were conferred with autonomous status. Based on the recommendations of the University Grants Commission, the autonomous status was bestowed to Bhavan’s Vivekananda College of Science, Humanities & Commerce, Sainikpuri, Secunderabad, St Ann’s College for Women, Mehdipatnam and Government Degree College, Siddipet for the period of six years with effect from current academic year 2015-2016. Osmania University Registrar, Prof. E Suresh Kumar handed over the orders of conferment of the status to the colleges on Friday.
