An icon, a legend and certainly the dream of every automobile enthusiast in the world, Ferrari needs no introduction in India. However, its last foray in the domestic market didn’t go down well courtesy of an errant dealer spoiling its name for new and existing customers alike. Nonetheless, the Italian supercar maker will soon commence its second innings in the country and has appointed the popular ‘Navnit Motors’ as its dealer in Mumbai that will be handling the operations and sales for the company, much to the relief of existing customers.
Ahead of the official commencement of operations, prices for Ferrari’s Indian lineup has been revealed online. The Enzo maker will be bringing five models to India from its global stable which include the new 488 GTB (458 Italia successor), the 458 Italia Spider, the 458 Speciale, the F12 Berlinetta and the entry-level Ferrari California T.
Starting with the most affordable offering on the list, the California T is the automaker’s return to forced induction and is powered by a 3.9-litre turbo V8 motor that produces 552 HP of power. The most expensive Ferrari though is the F12 Berlinetta that comes with a 6.3-litre V12 engine producing 730 horses which is intimidating in every sense.
The dealership representatives suggest that the Ferrari 488 GTB has received a phenomenal response in the country with almost every allotted car sold instantly; while the California T has also met with a good response since customers are preferring the same over the old version. The supercar segment in India is growing tremendously as more Lamborghini and Porsche models are finding homes.
