Chris Gayle smashed one of the biggest scores in T-20 history on Sunday night when one fan was so impressed and determined to get his hands on the souvenir.
Chris Gayle famed for his big hitting, smashed the last ball out of the ground at Taunton, into the river when Martin Bullock, from St Austell in Cornwall, wasted no time, swimming after the ball before rescuing it from the water.
Bullock described the water as 'bloody cold' on Twitter, who then got the big batsman to sign the ball, making it the perfect piece of souvenir.
The 35 year old Jamaican star was indeed impressed with Bullock’s effort which he expressed by taking a picture together before tweeting 'Hats off to you Champ'.
