Stating the reason for the movie's delay in a press conference, Mahesh Babu stated that the magnum opus ’Baahubali’ success is required for the Telugu film industry. Mahesh Babu generously moved back making space only for 'Baahubali' to release.
According to reports, director Guna Shekhar after getting on board Mega Star Chiranjeevi for a voice over for his movie 'Rudhramadevi', is planning to convince Mahesh Babu to promote his movie. Mahesh Babu who worked with Guna Sekhar in 'Okkadu' will turn a huge asset for 'Rudhramadevi', if the actor gives a nod for the promotions.
