In a big relief to TDP MLA Revanth Reddy, the Hyderabad High Court on Tuesday granted bail to him in connection with the cash-for-vote scam. After several petitions and counter petitions, the court decided to grant bail.

The court asked him to furnish a bond of Rs 5-lakh security and two sureties. Revanth Reddy was arrested last month in the cash-for vote case, where they reportedly tried to bribe nominated MLA Elvis Stephenson to seek his support for a TDP-backed candidate in MLC polls.
