A slap in face of TS govt: T TDP
Telangana TDP on Friday said the Supreme Court ruling the plea for annulment of bail granted to T TDP leader A Revanth Reddy by High Court was “a slap in the face of the Telangana State government.” Addressing the media here, party senior leader R Chandrasekhar Reddy said the Telangana State government was using all sort of tricks to stop Revanth Reddy from coming out of the jail but in vain.
Hyderabad: Telangana TDP on Friday said the Supreme Court ruling the plea for annulment of bail granted to T TDP leader A Revanth Reddy by High Court was “a slap in the face of the Telangana State government.” Addressing the media here, party senior leader R Chandrasekhar Reddy said the Telangana State government was using all sort of tricks to stop Revanth Reddy from coming out of the jail but in vain.
He questioned the TS government for approaching the apex court against the release of his party colleague who was allegedly involved in the cash-for-vote-scam. Accusing the Telangana State Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao of misusing power by foisting cases on the opposition leaders, the TDP leader said the mass support enjoyed by Revanth Reddy after his release from the jail two days ago shocked the TRS.
KCR was desperate to malign the image of Revanth Reddy and kill the TDP in Telangana. Stating that the TDP would emerge as a strong force before 2019 election, he said.
