The political spin doctor devised a two-pronged strategy: to advertise in the rural areas about the party’s policies on Tweeter (megaphone or loudspeaker) and posting incessant tweets (messages) on Twitter (the website). Tweet as a noun refers to a weak chirping sound of a bird.

Tweet is a message posted on Twitter: Twitter is a micro-blogging website which restricts the user to post a message not more than 140 characters. Tweet as a verb refers to the sound such as the chirping sound made by small, or young birds, and to compose a tweet to post on a social media website. The verb forms of tweet are tweeted, tweeting, and tweets.

Tweeter is a noun: Tweeter is a loudspeaker, or megaphone, designed to reproduce high frequencies. Tweeters are in demand at the time of elections, and also during political rallies and demonstrations which are a way of life in a democratic India.Tweeter is a person who posts tweets or messages on the social media website Twitter.

Variants of tweet are tweets, tweeting, tweeted (verbs) tweetable (adjective) tweeter (noun). Are personal affairs tweetable on Twitter? Tweetable, or twitterable indicates to the capacity of person in (sending a message such as on Twitter); and deserving of being sent as a message (such as on any of the social media websites).

The opposite of tweetable is untweetable. Twit is a noun: an informally word which refers to a silly or stupid person. Twit is a foolish person. Twit is an annoying person. You silly twit, get out of my sight. I adore him though he is a little twit. Twit as a verb refers to subjecting some to light ridicule, or reproach. To poke or make fun of as a fault of others: the variants of twit are twits, twitted, twitting.

Twit means making fun of a friend or someone in a funny way. The bachelors and spinsters twitted about each other over marital matters. Bob Tinsley, Associate Editor at Eeworldnews.com, commented: “a tweet by a twit.....this is how I feel about all this social networking and texting idiocy.”

Twitter functions as verb and noun. As a verb it refers to the short sounds, or chirps; talk in an excited manner, or in a nervous way. Stop twittering! As a noun, Twitter refers to the chirping sound (I went to the woods to listen to the twitter of birds) Twittery is an adjective: nervous. Twitter is a micro-blogging website. People have stopped twittering (speaking excitedly) but they are twittering on Twitter!
