Will hold AP govt responsible if anything happens to my father

Allagadda MLA Bhuma Akhila Priya blamed the highhandedness of the government for the false case foisted against her father, Nandyal MLA Bhuma Nagi Reddy.

Speaking to reporters, Akhila Priya said that the Government has been using police to target her father and is always waiting for a chance to foist cases on him. The Government will be held responsible if something happens to him, she added."My father is on fast in the jail in protest against the injustice and if anything should happen to him, the State Government will be blamed.

Explaining about the incident, the Allagadda MLA said that she and her father were waiting outside the polling station. Soon after her father left the place, two DSPs along with several police officials asked her to vote and leave the place, she added.

“I told them that I will vote with my father after he returns but the DSP spoke in a rude manner and told me to vote or leave the premises. When I asked him if there is any rule that a MLA cannot stay at the booth, he said you will influence the voters hence leave," she added.
