Pastor at Chittoor church rapes teen

Protesting against church pastor Prapulla for allegedly sexually assaulting a minor girl, BC Samkshema Sangam activists staged a dharna demanding stringent action in front of the One-Town police station on Sunday in Chittoor.

On Saturday evening, a 14 year old girl from Penumur complained to the One Town police of Chittoor alleging that she was sexually abused by the pastor for the last one year. The girl studies in the Sharmon Girls High School where the accused’s wife works as a teacher and the pastor allegedly sexually assaulted the girl taking advantage of the girl visiting the teacher’s house.

Later, the girl was shifted to a government girls’ hostel in Chittoor yet the pastor met her and took her to his room on Friday where he again allegedly sexually assaulted her. The victim after the incident mustered courage to go to the police station and narrate the entire story.

After registering the complaint of the victim, the police took Prapulla into custody investigation while Local MLA Satyapraba demanded the police to take action against the guilty.
