Short Film contest on World Photography Day
Short Film contest on World Photography Day. In view of the World Photography Day that is celebrated on August 19, SNAP, a production house in Vijayawada is conducting a short film contest and is calling out all the passionate film makers and giving them a platform to show case their talent and creativity.
In view of the World Photography Day that is celebrated on August 19, SNAP, a production house in Vijayawada is conducting a short film contest and is calling out all the passionate film makers and giving them a platform to show case their talent and creativity. Duration of the short film should not exceed 20 minutes.
Screening of the best 20 short films will be held on the day of the event after which the winners will be announced. A cash prize of Rs 20,000 for the winner and Rs 10,000 for the runner-up will be awarded. A lucky draw from all the participants who attend the event on the day will be taken and the winner gets free post production from SNAP for the next production they take up.
The guests of the event are from the film industry which will include a Director of Photography (DOP) and a filmmaker. The participants can also have a small discussion with the guests on the day to clear their quires about the film and its production, MD of SNAP Surya K said, “In order to bring out the hidden talent from young passionate film makers and to encourage them, SNAP decided to go with the short film contest”.
