Hyderabad: Information Technology Minister K T Rama Rao on Monday unveiled the logo of “TITA Telangana Digithon,” a digital literacy initiative undertaken by the Telangana Information Technology Association (TITA).

Telangana Digithon logo with the tagline of “Cultivating Literacy” consists of green leaves which also indicate “go green with digital literacy. The TITA appreciated the government’s initiative for promoting digital Telangana and promised to extend its total support in taking the scheme in remotest places of the State.

TITA founder and president Sundeep Kumar Makthala in his speech said, "In this digital era, the TITA has a basic responsibility to promote digital literacy among common people in Telangana State in particular. For this purpose, it is decided that TITA has started digital literacy programme under the name Telangana Digithon in Telanagana State," he said.

Sundeep Kumar said the TITA would train first batch of students during the launch programme on Saturday. The TITA had also developed a mobile application for the Telangana Digithon trainer by name "Mobile Digithon," which would be launched very shortly.

The TITA is also devising flash mobs on digital literacy under the name “Dance for Digital Literacy,” said Sundeep Kumar Information Technology Secretary Jayesh Ranjan, Digital Media Director Dileep Konatham, TITA vice president Ranapratap Bojjam, general secretaries Ashwinchandra Vallaoboju, Naveen Chinthala and other members were present at the event.
