Former Indian President and scientist Dr APJ Abdul Kalam passed away in Shillong. The professor collapsed while he was giving a lecture at IBM in the north eastern state of India. He was soon rushed to a nearby hospital where his condition was said to be critical. However Kalam breathed his last there.
