New Triumph Tiger 800 XR launched in India at Rs 10 lakh. Triumph Motorcycles on Thursday launched the Tiger 800 XR in the Indian market at Rs. 10.50 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Triumph Motorcycle says that the new Tiger\'s manners, riding position, handling and responsive engine make it one of the best-in-class adventure motorcycles in the country.

Triumph Motorcycles on Thursday launched the Tiger 800 XR in the Indian market at Rs. 10.50 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Triumph Motorcycle says that the new Tiger's manners, riding position, handling and responsive engine make it one of the best-in-class adventure motorcycles in the country.

The Tiger 800 XR is claimed to be a more comfortable and refined motorcycle than before with greater fuel efficiency, more agility and improved touring capability. Powering the motorcycle is an 800cc, three-cylinder engine that produces a maximum power output of 94bhp. The engine of the bike has gone through several changes that reduce its mechanical noise.

Furthermore, the motorcycle's gear change action too have become lighter and more precise as it uses parts from Triumph Daytona 675. Vimal Sumbly, Managing Director, Triumph Motorcycles India said, "We are focused on creating motorcycles with a perfect balance of power, handling and style that totally involve the rider and bring out the best in them.
