For English of 50 marks, get into a writing habit and Wren’s Grammar is the best guide. For logical reasoning of 40 marks, the practice guide books are the only way to keep practicing. Just 2 hours every weekend, will make you confident. GK and Current events, apart from the study material, please get the Manorama Yearbook 2015 for a mere Rs 140 from Amazon India and is home delivered also there is a CD with it..

After my intermediate, I would like to go for law course. How good is a 3-year LLB versus a 5-year integrated law programme?- Arvind, Bangalore


It's very common questions asked by many students who wish to do law course. It can’t compare like that as they sever to two different student groups. You can straightaway go for five year integrated course and leave three-year degree course. The five year course is serious professional course and cannot be equated with three-year course.


In general, the three-year law course is opted for by those who are working. Whereas the five-year course is of some seriousness and students of this course are expected to study seriously as full time.

Please ensure that the Law Degree course be it 3 years or 5 years, they better be recognised by the Bar Council of India in Delhi and UGC approved. All admission these days require an entrance test and most of the entrance test are in the CLAT pattern. Just avoid the private university programme.
