Telangana's Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) intensified its probe in the cash-for-vote scam. The investigating agency has been examining all the public records to check voice records of all the accused in the case. The ACB had sent electronic devices including some phones containing few audio clips and video footage relating to case to the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) for analysis. The results were out last week.

After getting reports from the SFSL, the ACB started collecting the voice samples of the accused for a voice-match test. The ACB sleuths are digging up authentic government library to compare it with the voice on the tapes.

It appears that ACB took this decision as the accused may refuse to take the voice test again and approach the court to get a stay on it. According to reports, the ACB filed a petition before the court seeking voice recordings of TDP MLA Revanth Reddy from the Assembly.

Sources added that the ACB sent a letter to the Assembly speaker requesting for the speech copies of Revanth Reddy and Sandra Venkata Veeraiah. The ACB also sent notices to several media houses asking them to submit the interview tapes of the accused TDP MLAs.
