Bandaru Dattatreya’s Review Meeting With Postal, Telecom And STPI Officials. Chief General Manager, BSNL A.P Circle along with Sri C.V.D.Ram Prasad, Director Software Technology Park of India & other senior officials here on Saturday.

Chief General Manager, BSNL A.P Circle along with Sri C.V.D.Ram Prasad, Director Software Technology Park of India & other senior officials here on Saturday.
Speaking to the media after the review meeting, Sri Dattatreya said that the services of huge network of post offices in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh will be utilized for the implementation of different social welfare schemes.
To issue the unique cards for the unorganized sector workers, services of postal department could be utilized, he said. To enhance the performance of employment exchanges, the post offices can work as a mini centers at village level, he added.
Speaking on the occasion, Sri Sudhakar, Chief Post Master General, Andhra Pradesh Postal Circle, said that on a pilot basis, postal department is working on a project to help the farmers in marketing their produce. The postal staff takes photos of the production of the farmers and uploads in the websites. Buyers can access the details and buy directly from the famers, he said. On behalf of the postal department, logistic support will be provided, he said.
Minister assured the officials to bring these issues to the concerned Union Ministers. The health centers, banks, post offices and cell phone towers should be provided uninterrupted power supply and for this the central government is ready to assist through Deendayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana.
Sri C.V.D.Ram Prasad, Director Software Technology Park of India said that if the land allotted by local government, new centre will come up in Karimnagar town and the existing STPI park in Warangal will be expanded he said. Sri Muralidhar Rao P.V. Chief General Manager, BSNL A.P Circle said that to give internet connectivity to every village, Optical Fiber Network is being strengthened, he said.
The Union Minister also said the existing structure of Osmania General Hospital should not be demolished. Instead of this, the Telangana CM should think on the revival of the heritage building, he said. He informed that for the safe release of the two persons from Telangana, he had spoken to External Minister Smt. Sushma Swaraj.
