Elaborate security arrangements are being made for the upcoming two-day Bonalu festival this Sunday and Monday at Mahakali Temple, Secunderabad. Speaking at a conference, Reddy said, “Two additional DCPs, twelve ACPs, fifty-five CIs, one-hundred fifty SIs, seven hundred HCs and PCs, twelve women SIs and ten army and Para Military Force would be on duty to regulate devotees, ensure quick darshan and carry out the Bonalu Jatara celebrations peacefully.”

”46 video cameras are installed at all the importunate ends, to keep a tag on anti-social elements and prevent any untoward incidents. Two large screens are displayed to watch the movements and to identify the missing children if any,” he added.He appealed the devotees to take extra care of their belongings with particular care for jewellery and gold ornaments. “Help desks are made available to address the grievances of the devotees,” he concluded.
