ZTE unveils 3 new smartphones. ZTE launched three new V3 series smartphones – the ZTE V3 Youth Edition, ZTE V3 Energy Edition and ZTE V3 Extreme Edition.

ZTE launched three new V3 series smartphones – the ZTE V3 Youth Edition, ZTE V3 Energy Edition and ZTE V3 Extreme Edition. The phones are currently available for booking on the company’s China website, which are (roughly) priced Rs 10,300, Rs 13,400 and Rs 15,000 respectively. However, there is no word as to when the phones would reach India or other regions.

All the three smartphones sport a metal aluminium build and a fingerprint sensor at the rear panel below the camera setup, features that are considered premium. The phones have identical specifications, except for network support - with each offering slightly different configurations.

The trio come with 4G LTE network compatibility including the TDD-LTE B40 band supported in India, as per the company listing page. Other 4G bands supported include TDD-LTE: B38, B39, B41 and FDD-LTE B1, B3, B7. More details can be found on the company's China site.

The three new ZTE V3 smartphones house 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) resolution displays with a pixel density of 401ppi and are powered by 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processors (four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.5GHz + four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1GHz), clubbed with 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM and Adreno 405 GPU.

All three also sport 13-megapixel rear cameras with f/2.2 aperture and NeoVision 5.0, besides 5-megapixel front-facing cameras with f/2.2 aperture and a 88-degree wide camera lens.

Measuring the same at 155.3x8.55x77.2mm, the ZTE V3 Youth Edition, V3 Energy Edition and V3 Extreme Edition all weigh 160 grams and are backed by 3000mAh non-removable batteries.
