Tributes paid to Pingali Venkayya

Navbharat Public School celebrated the 138th birthday of National Flag designer, Pingali Venkayya at their premises on Sunday.

Paying glowing tributes to Venkayya, veteran journalist Turlapati Kutumba Rao exhorted youth to strive for nation building by getting inspiration from the life of the great freedom fighter.

His great grandson Dasarath Raman and great granddaughter Susheela paid floral tributes to his portrait. Principal K Srihari Rao, Krishna Zilla Parishad Chairperson Gadde Anuradha and others were also present.
