Sailoo, a native of Bommandevunipalli village, married a Drupa last year. Drupa gave birth to a male child three months ago. Sailoo reportedly decided to divorce his wife. The village leader granted divorce and directed him to pay Rs 50,000 to Drupa. Drupa mother and father Lachavva and Yellaiaha alleged that Sailoo had killed their grandson as he had no intention to pay alimony to Drupa. Sub-Inspector of Bhirkoor Majid Khan registered a case.
