Yes. Telugu Desam Party leaders clearly divided into two groups in responding to the remarks made by Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan over the land acquisition process. He demanded immediate withdrawal of land acquisition notification and threatened to launch a fight against it. Pawan's remarks indicate that he is ready to break the friendly relation with the TDP.

Soon after his speech in Penumaka in Guntur, many leaders reacted to his comments. Some leaders adopted a soft stand towards Pawan while some tried to counter him. Ministers Ravela Kishore Babu and Palle Raghunatha Reddy tried to counter Pawan. "Law will take its own course if the farmers don't surrender their lands for the capital construction," Ravela said.

Another minister Prathipati Pulla Rao launched a counter offensive saying that the AP capital construction will not stop for the sake of two villages." Farmers have voluntarily have given away their 33,000 acres of land to the AP Government," he said. Several TDP leaders including Yanamala Ramakrishnudu and JC Diwakar Reddy are expected to respond to the Pawan's remarks today. It appears that the TDP leaders are not ready to attack Pawan at this time.
