City-based Samana Institute for Design Studies (SIDS) organised a fund raising fashion show to contribute for ‘Teach for Change’, a Hyderabad-based NGO. Film personalities Regina Cassandra, Pranitha Subash, Tejaswi Madivada, Miss India Sobhita Duliphala, Ritu Varma, Team India Women Cricket team captain Mithali Raj, Samart Reddy, Prince and Mrs India Planet Mehak Murthy walked the ramp.

Meanwhile, students of Samana Institute also enthralled the gathering through performing a variety of cultural events to rock the event. Speaking on the occasion, Mayor Koneru Sreedhar lauded the initiative of the NGO for adopting municipal schools in the Central Constituency to provide better training through its volunteer network.

Teach for Change CEO, MRSK Chaitanya said volunteers who were interested to teach at government schools can apply at their website. The event was a first-of-its-kind in the city, where Police Commissioner Gowtham Sawang, Mayor Koneru Sreedhar and other eminent personalities including SIDS managing partner and CEO, Samana Moosavi were present.
