The West Godavari police on Monday arrested one suspected 'syringe psycho' in Ravaulapalem.
Ravikumar, who works for a travels company, was picked up from his residence Sivadevuni Chikkala village in Palacole mandal of West Godavari.
Police have reportedly recovered some needles and syringe from Ravi Kumar and sent the same to the lab for testing. He was shifted to Ravaulapalem police station.
The police suspect that Ravi Kumar has been attacking women with an injection in West Godavari.
Two fresh cases of ‘Psycho Syringe’ were reported in West Godavari district on Sunday.
With two fresh incidents, the number of victims rose to 16. In Mogalturu, Manla, a three-year-old girl was attacked by the “syringe psycho”. In another incident, the miscreant attacked a person from Jetlapalem village in Pentapadu mandal.
