500 carefully curated applicants will be part of the transformational experience at the ‘TEDxHyderabad 2015’ event, scheduled for September 20. The event, themed ‘Unfolding Journeys’ will recreate the experience of TED talks with the involvement of the local community, by bringing thinkers and doers to share ‘ideas worth spreading’.
Inspirational journeys to unfold on stage
500 carefully curated applicants will be part of the transformational experience at the ‘TEDxHyderabad 2015’ event, scheduled for September 20. The event, themed ‘Unfolding Journeys’ will recreate the experience of TED talks with the involvement of the local community, by bringing thinkers and doers to share ‘ideas worth spreading’.
Thirteen speakers from diverse fields including music, science, business, adventure sport, humanities among others, will take centre-stage and share how they overcame trials and tribulations in their lives to achieve success. These exciting and inspirational stories will motivate attendees to become change agents within their communities.
Talking about the event, Anthony Vipin Das, TED Senior Fellow and Licensee and Curator, TEDxHyderabad 2015 said, “Our hope is that through this event we will unite a diverse and vibrant group of achievers to bring about meaningful social change to our city.”
Viiveck Verma, Core Team Member, TEDxHyderabad 2015 said, “Many of us want to make a difference however too often we do not know where to start or how to get support. For participants, it could prove to be the first step they take to bring about a change in their lives and in their communities at large.”
The event will be held at CMC Auditorium, in Gachibowli at 9.00 am. Registrations are currently open on the TEDxHyderabad website.
