Already a part of two projects – with Trivikram Srinivas and Venu Mallidi (debutant) –actor Nithiin has given his consent to lyricist-turned-director Krishna Chaitanya for a new project. Chaitanya made his debut as a director with Nara Rohith-starrer ‘Rowdy Fellow’ last year.

Though it was not a smash hit at the turnstile, the director was praised for his writing and directing skills. A source says, “Chaitanya recently met Nithiin with a script. After a 40- minute narration, the actor gave his consent verbally. It will be a family entertainer peppered with action.

It will take some more time for Chaitanya to complete the draft. The film will roll on once the actor wraps up his next assignments, the shooting of which will take place shortly. The actor’s home banner, Sreshth Movies, is likely to bankroll this project.”

The source adds that Chaitanya, who has penned hit numbers like Oh Priya Priya, Chinnadana nee kosam and Gundejaari Gallanthayyinde for Nithiin, is also writing the dialogues for his flick with Venu Mallidi. Seems like Nithiin is keen on compensating his long absence from the screen with back-to-back flicks.
