Harley Davidson thief identified

The Banjara Hills police identified the person accused of fleeing away with a Harley Davidson bike worth Rs 6 lakh from the showroom at Banjara Hills on the pretext of test ride. The accused is reportedly a submarine engineer at ONGC in Kakinada. According to the sources, he is supposed to be a former student of IIT Chennai.

The police who registered the case based on the complaint filed by the showroom manager Sheela identified the accused using the mobile number he gave during his visit to Harley Davidson showroom located at Banjara Hills Road No. 2 on September 1. The father of the accused, a government employee, was called to the police station for questioning on Thursday, sources said.
