Recently, the KCR Government granted Rs 15 lakh to Smita to meet her legal expenses in a defamation case against Outlook. Writer-cum-social activist, Vastala Vidya filed a petition sating that the use of public money for personal use is illegal.
The petitioner pointed out that the GO failed to say who will return the money if Smita loses the case.
