With Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao likely to reshuffle the Cabinet in September, reports suggest that the few party leaders are to be dropped.

The Chief Minister is said to have expressed displeasure over the functioning of certain Ministers which is the reason for the Cabinet reshuffle to strengthen the party at grassroot level. The Assembly session is scheduled to begin on September 23 after Chief Minister's return from China.

The ministers who are likely to get deputed from the Cabinet are Tourism Minister Ajmera Chandulal, Excise Minister T Padma Rao and Home Minister Nayani Narsimha Reddy.

Although KCR is said to be satisfied with Home Minister Nayani's performance, he wants the party affairs to be taken care by the senior leader while Excise Minister came under scrutiny on the cheap liquor issue. Also, Tourism Minister is learnt to be facing health issues which is why it has become difficult for him to discharge his duties.

IT Minister KTR and MP Kavita will be taking over the reigns of the party with the allocation of the Industries portfolio.
