The award was presented by the President of India Pranab Mukerjee in New Delhi on Friday to Sangita Reddy, Jt Managing Director and Radhey Mohan, Vice President, International Marketing of Apollo Hospitals Group.
Speaking after the ceremony, Sangita Reddy said, “Apollo Health City bagging the top honours is a moment to cherish and an opportunity to redouble our efforts to make India the medical tourism destination of the world.”
Commenting on the award, Dr Prathap C Reddy, Chairman, Apollo Hospitals Group said, “This award by the Government of India is a great inspiration, and Team Apollo will continue its journey towards making India a global healthcare destination with renewed energy and vigour.”
The Hospital was conferred the award in the years 2009-2010 and 2011-2012, earlier.
