On Saturday, Congress activists welcomed the APCC chief by tying pigeons to rockets and setting it alight. The rockets went to the sky and pigeons killed due to the burst of crackers.
Taking strong exception to the cruelty of birds, TDP MLA JC Prabhakar Reddy lambasted Raghuveera Reddy saying he is not even leaving the birds. He deceived the farmers when he was agriculture minister. He demanded a police case against him. Meanwhile, Raghuveera Reddy said that it was done by mistake and not intentionally.
"Congress party leaders love animals. We will make sure such incidents will not repeat again in the future," he said.
