Physical activity will add years to your life, and life to years. There are 1,440 minutes every day, schedule 30 minutes of them for physical activity. Small steps make big differences. These were some of the mantras chanted at the Fitness Fiesta as part of Raahgiri on Sunday.

Alekhya Nadendla, founder of FITZOP, who organised the fiesta, said, “A wide range of activities like zumba, self defense lessons, kickboxing, functional training, agility training and free nutrition checkups was showcased at Raahgiri. We plan to do this every two months.

Some of the fitness centers which participated in the drive include Apollo Life Studio, Shuttler-Indoor Badminton Court, Hatam Yoga, Core Fitness Station, Fit Republic and TruWeight.” Apart from the fiesta, the Telangana Forest Department organised a painting competition and Friends of Snakes educated people about the reptile.
