Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai, a premier B-school in the country announced the admissions open for its Two Year full time program, Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) which will commence in July, 2016.

The program is custom designed for fresh graduates and young professionals and combines rigorous academics with significant experiential learning to prepare business ready managers. Some of the highlights of the program include Karmayoga - Leadership Experiential Leadership project, a fully mentored Empirical Study, Live Trading on Bloomberg terminals, an 8 week summer internship program and significant industry interaction with thought leaders. The program is approved by AICTE.
There will be two cycles of admission and the deadlines for submission are 29th February, 2016 & 31st March, 2016 respectively. Fresh graduates and candidates having validGMAT/CAT/XAT/CMAT/MAT scoreswith less than 24 months of work experience as on 30thJune,2016 are eligible to apply. Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria can apply online on the institute’s websitewww.greatlakes.edu.in/pgdm.
Speaking about the commencement of admission process, Professor Easwar Krishna Iyer, Director - Admissions, Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai mentioned that “For the PGDM we seek students who have demonstrated good academic potential, possess leadership qualities and have strong ethical values. We have significant diversity in the class with students from all over the country with over 40% female candidates, among the highest in the country. ”
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA for PGDM 2016-18:
• All applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized institution.
• All applicants are required to apply with a valid GMAT/CAT/XAT /CMAT/MAT score.
• For PGDM 2016, Great Lakes Institute of Management will accept CAT scores of years 2014 and 2015 or XAT scores of years 2015 and 2016 or GMAT scores taken after Jan 1, 2014 or CMAT scores of the year 2015 or MAT scores taken after Jan 1, 2015.
• Fresh Graduates and candidates with less than 24 months of work experience as on 30thJune 2016 are ONLY eligible to apply. (Candidates with greater than 24 months of work- experience should apply for Great Lakes’ 1 year PGPM program).
• There will be a special preference for College / University rank holders in terms of an extra weightage gained as part of the selection process.

• Cycle 1 Submission Date: 29th February, 2016
• PI Dates for Cycle 1: 5th, 6th, 12th& 13th- March, 2016
• Cycle 2 Submission Date: 31st March, 2016
• PI Dates for Cycle 2: 23rd& 24thApril,2016
