Rakul bowled over by chiru’s praise. Actress Rakul Preet Singh couldn’t have asked for more. If being a part of Ram Charan-starrer ‘Bruce Lee-The Fighter’ was one thing, the icing on the cake was sharing screen with Chiranjeevi.

Actress Rakul Preet Singh couldn’t have asked for more. If being a part of Ram Charan-starrer ‘Bruce Lee-The Fighter’ was one thing, the icing on the cake was sharing screen with Chiranjeevi. “The experience of working with megastar is something that I will never forget. It’s the biggest thing has happened to me,” she shares, adding that she was awestruck by the “mega presence.”
“On the first day of sets, Chiranjeevi sir was on time. When he said he was ready, everybody had to rush. Although it’s been some time since he was away from arc lights, given his stature, I was amazed to see his dedication and passion to learn new things. Even after the director was convinced with his shot, he wanted to go for a re-take. A person of his reputation need not do it unless he loves his work,” she recalls.
Rakul remembers Chiru praising her jig and fashion in Le Chalo number. “He said, ‘I watched the song along with my family and if looking gorgeous is one level, you looked beyond it.’ He further said the audience would go crazy about it. After that I don’t remember what he said coz I was over the moon already. I replied to him, saying, ‘It doesn’t matter if the audience goes crazy. Now that you’ve lauded my work, it’s more than enough.’”
Rakul plays a Ria, a video game designer in the actioner. “I design a game on Ram Charan who plays a stuntman. It’s my most hyper role till date. In terms of my look too, it’s very stylish. It took 15- 20 days to zero in on my costumes as Sreenu Vaitla (director) was keen on my look looking truly international,” she smiles.
Admittedly, Rakul was a bundle of nerves to shake a leg with Ram Charan. “He dances like dream and doesn’t require rehearsals; he practices on sets and goes for a take. I had to go for rehearsals to match to his abilities,” she smiles.
