The film has been receiving mixed response from the critics. Rudramadevi has witnessed advance bookings in large scale for its premiere shows. Most of the theatres are completely occupied for the weekend.
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has exempted the film from entertainment tax in the newly formed state at the request of film-maker Gunashekar.
