Hyderabad: Telangana State Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has decided to revamp the polit- buro, the policy-making body, of Telangana Rashtra Samithi.

Addressing the party's Legislature Party meeting at Telangana Bhavan on Thursday, KCR said that the new politburo would have limited members and would be more vibrant.

He also directed the Ministers and legislators to prepare the list of candidates to be appointed for party's State and District Com- mittees. He also gave nod for filling up vacant nominated posts.

During the two hour long meeting, KCR asked the party leaders to bring awareness among the people about various welfare schemes that are being implemented by the State government.

Later, speaking to the media, Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali, Home Minister Naini Narasimha Reddy, Energy Minister Jagadish Reddy and Government Chief Whip Koppula Eshwar said that the Chief Minister wants the party to be strengthened at grass root level.

They said those serving the party for the last 14 years would be given due recognition by appointing them to State and District Committees.

They said that the State government aims to complete all irrigation projects in the next three years while double bedroom houses would be given from Dussehra festival.

KCR said that the Water Grid works should be executed under the supervision of MLAs concerned and all the leaders should play an active role in the implementation of second phase of Mission Kakatiya works.

The Minis- ters also informed the media that the Chief Minister would convene an all-party meeting to discuss the change in design of Pranahita- Chevella project.
