People visiting the Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) complain of hardship. Meena, a nurse at NIMS says, “The Punjagutta stretch is always choked with vehicles and due to the construction waste there is always a traffic jam.”

Prior to the Ganesh idol immersion, Metro works were stopped for a few days. In a weekly spe- cial task force meetings held by the Chief Secretary, the instructions to the concessionaire building the project,

Raghav, a software employee said, “Huge cement blocks are causing in- convenience and two wheelers pass through gaps between the bar- ricades.
