As part of the Guru Nanak Jyanti celebrations, the mass congregation ‘Vishaal Deewan’ will begin from Nizam College Grounds in Basheerbagh from 11.00 am to 4.00 pm on Wednesday.

As part of the Guru Nanak Jyanti celebrations, the mass congregation ‘Vishaal Deewan’ will begin from Nizam College Grounds in Basheerbagh from 11.00 am to 4.00 pm on Wednesday.

Over 25,000 to 30,000 Sikh devotees and other community faiths are expected to converge at the programme. The event will be marked by the recitations of Gurbani Keertans (Holy Hymns) by the reputed Ragi Jathas (religious preachers), who have been invited to render shabad keertans.

Bhai Joginder Singhji Riar (Ludhiana), Bhai Surinder Singhji Jodhpuri, Bhai Nagender Singhji, Bhai Hari Singh Hazuri Ragi Jathas, Bhai Jagdev SIngh and Bhai Tajender Singhji along with other reputed Ragi Jathas will recite shabad keertans and Kathas and throw light on the teachings of Sikh Gurus.

The ‘Guru Ka Langar’ will be served to the devotees after the culmination of the congregation.

In addition, a night Keertan Darbar will be organised at Gurudwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha in Afzalgunj from 9.00 pm to 2.30 am in which the Ragi Jathas will recite Gurubani keertans.
