This will be the second leg of the three-city mixed doubles tour featuring Martina Navratilova, Leander Paes, Mahesh Bhupathi and Sania Mirza. The first was hosted in Kolkata on Wednesday while the third will be held on Friday.

Quite expectedly, the world number one woman doubles player, who has had a phenomenal run this season that fetched ten titles, is jubilant. "SMTA is proud to be hosting this event in the city. Hopefully, this will mark another step in promoting tennis in India.

I am sure this will inspire promising youngsters to dream big and go about the aspirations with gusto. Seeing legends like Navratilova is bound to be the best possible motivation for youngsters who will make it to the venue," points out Sania, who will be partnering Bhupathi in the friendly match.

The duo won the Australian Open mixed doubles title in 2009 and the French Open in 2012. Navratilova and Paes bagged a Grand Slam double in 2003 while triumphing in the Australian Open and Wimbledon.

Meanwhile, although it is billed as an exhibition match, the determined four will put in their best to score winners, one after another, to win the battle of wits and guts.
