GITAM to host workshop
GITAM University, Department of Mechanical Engineering is going to organise a three-day workshop on ‘Advanced Computational Fluid Dynamics’ (ACFD-2015) and ‘Engineering Optimization Theory and Practice’ at its campus in Hyderabad between December 14-16, 2015. Prof Nithiarasu, College of Engineering, Swansea University, UK and Prof SS Rao, University of Miami, Florida, USA will be the main resource persons for this workshop.

Hyderabad: GITAM University, Department of Mechanical Engineering is going to organise a three-day workshop on ‘Advanced Computational Fluid Dynamics’ (ACFD-2015) and ‘Engineering Optimization Theory and Practice’ at its campus in Hyderabad between December 14-16, 2015. Prof Nithiarasu, College of Engineering, Swansea University, UK and Prof SS Rao, University of Miami, Florida, USA will be the main resource persons for this workshop.
ACFD workshop is designed to deliver essential CFD knowledge to engineers and scientists. In addition to reminding the participants of the basics of CFD, interesting applications and information about current state of the art will also be discussed. Basic understanding of fluid flow and engineering mathematics is a prerequisite for participating in this workshop.
Engineering Optimization workshop will help solve practical problems and will give exposure to different case studies and hands-on practice using optimization tool box in MAT Lab. Practicing Engineers from Industry, CFD Researchers in Academia, Scientists and Research Engineers, CFD Teachers and Consultants and CFD Software Developers and users can attend this three-day workshop.
