Nithiin’s next on the lines of Dil

In the news for the past two years, Nithiin’s project with first time director Venu Mallidi will be going on to sets in late February or early March. “A clear picture regarding this will be out once Nithiin wraps up his current assignment, ‘A…Aa’, with Trivikram Srinivas,” confirmed a source close to the development.
The source said that while Rakul Preet Singh is already on board, deliberations are on with Pranita Subhash for the second heroine role. “She has been briefed about her part. Her participation is more or less confirmed. Chota K Naidu will be the cinematographer,” the source said.
The source further said it will be a love story laced with action and humour. “It will be on the lines of ‘Dil’ and will not be a regular hero-villain rivalry. The script, penned by Veligonda Srinivas, has come out compact.”
While the film was supposed to be made on Nithiin’s home banner Sreshth Movies, there are chances for a new producer to pool in resources as Sreshth Movies has incurred heavy losses with ‘Akhil’.
