Hyderabad: The Telangana State government on Wednesday sold prime lands at Raidurgam, Kokapet and Manikonda through the Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation(TSIIC). The land at Raidurgam has reportedly been sold for Rs 29.38 crore per acre, which is considered to be an all-time high.

The State government conducted an online auction from 12pm to 3pm and sold the five acre land for Rs 29.38 crore per acre to

Aurobindo Pharma Limited. The company also purchased another three acres, Rs 24.88 crore per acre.

Residential lands at Kokapet and Manikonda have also been sold for record price. Earth Papers Company purchased one acre of land for Rs 12.63 crore and a land at Manikonda was sold for Rs 6.05 crore to Gland Cellulose. Naya Infra India Private Limited purchased two acres for Rs 24.20 crore per acre and Symed Labs purchased three acres of land with Rs 22.02 per acre.

According to a press release from the Chief Minister’s Office, the land would be used for constructing world class corporate offices and infrastructure by the respective companies. The auction was conducted transparently online as directed by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.
