Task force to be set up to solve problems of nurseries
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said a task force would be formed with horticulture, agriculture and forest officials to solve the problems of nurseries in the State. He said planting of saplings would be taken up in a big way in the State to turn it into Haritandhra Pradesh.

The members of Indian Nurseries Association led by MLA Gorantla Butchaiah Chowdary met the Chief Minister at his camp office here on Wednesday to air their grievances. After releasing the ‘Nursery Today’ magazine, the Chief Minister appealed to managements of nurseries to develop the nurseries by growing a variety of plants.
The members of Nurseries Association said 1500 nurseries exist in Kadiyam and they appealed to the Chief Minister to provide subsidy on power supply and lift taxes to encourage exports. Association president Palla Subrahmanyam, general secretary Palla Veera Venakata Rao and others were present.
