A Poster regarding the event was released by the College president U Sambasiva Rao and secretary SVSM Rajith Kumar on Thursday.
Talking to the news men, Sambasiva Rao said that City Mayor Koneru Sreedhar will inaugurate the seminar in which National Institute of Technology (NIT), Warangal Mathematics Professor TBK Ayyangar would deliver his key note address. The Department of Mathematics has been organising the seminar with an aim to bring top mathematicians in the country on a single platform.
It would discuss the recent trends and advancements in the field of mathematics. Mathematicians from Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Oddisha and Telangana would participate in the seminar and submit their research papers, he said. College principal P Krishna Murthy, Vice-principal V Narayana Rao, Mathematics Department Head M Venkateswara Rao and senior faculty K Naveen Kumar were also present.
