Groom runs away hours before wedding
A bride groom ran away and disappeared from the marriage venue about three hours before he was to tie the nuptial knot. The incident was reported from Annavaram Temple in East Godavari district on Thursday.

According to police, Ramu Naidu (27) of Achyutapuram mandal in Vishakapatnam fell in love with a 20-year old girl from Maturu village in the same mandal. The relationship which continued for a year eventually ended up in a marriage, agreed upon by both sides.
Both families with bride and groom reached the Annavaram Temple on Thursday for marriage ceremony. While arrangements were on, Naidu collected Rs 1,000 from bride’s mother and informed her that he was going out and would return soon. But he did not turn up at the venue.
