To highlight the demand to make Yadagirigutta as a separate district, TDP politburo member Motkupalli Narsimhulu took up padayatra from Aler to Yadagirigutta on Friday.

Nalgonda: To highlight the demand to make Yadagirigutta as a separate district, TDP politburo member Motkupalli Narsimhulu took up padayatra from Aler to Yadagirigutta on Friday.
Before starting the padayatra, interacting with the media Narsimhulu alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was contemplating to merge Yadagirigutta in Siddipet and Aler in Jangaon districts despite Yadagirigutta having the required characteristics to be formed as a new district.
He announced of launching hunger strike on December 1 at Yadagirigutta demanding the State government for creation of Yadagirigutta district. With the initiative of Narsimhulu, a roundtable meeting was also held a month ago on this issue and adopted a resolution demanding the State government to carve out Yadagirigutta district.
Telugu Mahila state president B Shoba Rani, party district president Bilya Naik, BJP state secretary Venkateshwarlu and CPI leader Sriramulu also attended the padayatra.
