Karimnagar: Those victimised by ASI Mohan Reddy’s moneylending business have now dared file cases against him after his arrest. While many victims have already lodged complaint with the police, some others interacted with the media here on Saturday.

Pouring out their troubles in front of the media at a press conference, they urged Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao to ensure justice to them and take severe action against Mohan Reddy, who harassed them severely by usurping their properties.

Expressing doubts over the CID investigation since ASI has links with top CID officials, they appealed to KCR to transfer the case to the CBI. Thatipamula Saroja said she had borrowed Rs 5 lakh in 2010 by mortgaging their house worth Rs 1.5 crore and the rate of interest was increased from 3 per cent to 5 per cent after taking the amount.

The ASI demanded that they pay additional Rs 20 lakh when they asked him to return their house documents. When they refused to pay the amount, the ASI transferred the house on his benami name, Saroja complained.

Another victim, N Anji Reddy said he made an agreement with K Renuka of Ganesh Nagar in Karimnagar town for purchasing her house at Rs 1.4 crore in 2014 and paid Rs 40 lakh towards advance. But the ASI came in between and transferred the house on his name and refused to pay Rs 40 lakh.
